The Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies of Technological University in Košice is located in the second biggest city of Slovakia: Košice. The faculty provides education in traditional mining disciplines, including geology; mining; mineralurgy and environmental technologies; technologies in fuel and gas industry; mining mechanization, transport and deep drilling. In addition to that students may apply for study programmes of economy of Earth resources; geodesy and geographical information systems; geotourism and mining tourism, informatization and process control; industrial logistics; and rescue, fire and safety techniques.
Cooperation
The Faculty of Mining, Econoloy, Process Control and Geotechnologies in Košice has established plenty of cooperation agreements with institutions from both public and private sector, e.g. Ministry of environment (Faculty is strategical partner in field of research, development and innovations of Earths resources). Students and teachers from The Faculty have an option to be involved in international mobility, thanks to Eramus+ program.
