Reservation of accommodation – TUKE

If you plan to study at TUKE also in the upcoming academic year, you should book your accommodation at a dormitory. The deadline for reservation is up to 15.4. of the year

This reservation is not binding and there are no penalties, if you do not sign contract in September.

On the other hand, if you do not book it, you may not get dormitory in Kosice (private room starts at 200€ per month).

Here is the process, how to do it:

  1. log in to MAIS
  2. click on accommodation / ubytovanie in the upper navigation tab
  3. click on add accommodationaccommodation
  4. Page1: click on your preferred dorm (for FEEI and economics students: Jedlikova 9, for Aeronautical students: Rampova, for Manufacturing students: Budovatelska, for mechanical students: Ferka Urbanka or Bozeny Nemcovej)
  5. Page 2: fill it in in line with following instructions (only thing you need to figure out is what was your weighted study result – points 2 and 3). The most important are field (1) – Foreign students – you get 999 points extra and field (5)– vzdialenost fakulty of miesta trvalého bydliska ( distance of your home from the faculty). Please insert 100 – then you get your accommodation definitely.

  6. Make sure to click on Next and Save.
  7. There is necessity to pay reservation fee of 100€ in July. This fee will be deducted from Rent in September (so for 1st payment in September you will pay 200€, instead of 300€)
