pursuant to Article 13 and the relevant clauses of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Union on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter the “Regulation”) and Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic no. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and on amendments to Certain Acts (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Data Protection Act”)
Obtaining personal details
Your personal details are obtained via various means, typically: email communication, phone communication, by filling out the forms.
The purpose of personal data processing
The purposes of personal data processing are the reasons why the personal data of the persons concerned (employees, clients) are processed in our information systems on precisely defined legal bases. The purposes are specifically specified, explicitly stated and justified, while in the processing of personal data of the data subjects we respect the principle of legality according to Articles 6 and 9 of the Regulation (individual purposes and legal bases are listed below).
Affected persons whose personal data are processed in our information systems for specifically defined purposes may exercise the following rights in writing or electronically:
Right of access to personal data – this is the right to obtain confirmation of whether your personal data is processed as well as the right to access this data, within the scope of purposes and duration of the processing, categories of personal data concerned, the circle of recipients, any automatic processing, or the consequences of such processing. As the informational system operator, we have the right to use all appropriate measures to verify the identity of the data subject requesting access to data.
Right to correction of personal data – as per article 16 clause 65 of the Regulation
Right of erasure – “forgetting” of personal data which are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were obtained and processed, in the case of revocation of the consent on the basis of which the processing is carried out, in the case of unlawful processing;
The right to restrict processing of the personal data may be exercised if, as a data subject, you challenge the accuracy of personal data and other particulars within the meaning of Article 18, clause 67 of the Regulation, by temporarily transferring selected personal data to another processing system, denying users access to selected personal data or removal of processing.
The right to the transfer of personal data is the right to transfer personal data provided by you to our information systems to another operator in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format on the basis of consent or performance of the contract, if technically possible even under the conditions of Article 20, clause 68 in the case of processing by automated means. The exercise of this right is without prejudice to Article 17 of the Regulation. The right to data portability does not apply to processing necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority entrusted to us as an operator.
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedies, you, as the person concerned, have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if
In case you have an opinion, that processing of your personal inforamtion is not in defiance with the Regulation, you have right to submit complaint to Burea for protection of person details (https://dataprotection.gov.sk/uoou/ ).
As a concerned subject, you also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data on grounds relating to a specific situation, even if the processing is necessary for legitimate interests which we pursue as an controller or third party (other than processing by public authorities in the performance of their tasks). except where such interests outweigh your interests or the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, which require the protection of personal data (especially if the data subject is a child).
If personal data is processed for the purposes of direct marketing, as the data subject you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, for the purposes of such direct marketing, including profiling to the extent that it relates to such direct marketing.
What personal data are processed?
Purpose: study counseling for studying in Slovakia – based on the necessity to fulfil contractual obligation of the operator – as we operate as recruitment agent for Universities in Slovakia, we are receiving personal information of foreign students, that can be forwarded to Universities for the application and admission process. We act as intermediates of the Universities in this case. These details are typically name, address, contact details, identification details and others. We keep your personal details during our contractual relationship.
Purpose: book-keeping – based on legal obligation of the companies stated by Slovak law: we are processing personal details as stated by respected provisions of the Slovak law. We keep your personal information during 10 years.

- Universities
- Book keeping company
- Shipment companies
- Providers of email services (Gmail) or other IT services (Google Spreadsheet)
- State officials, if the law is stating so
