Graduate perspectives: Graduates will master terminology and methodology in the field and overlapping disciplines. He or she will be able to apply the knowledge to evaluate the landscape and its regions. Further, he or she will be able to create geographical databases regarding landscape and its regions at the different hierarchy levels. Graduates will be able to follow and apply new methods in geography, cartography, and geoinformatics. He or she can communicate in a foreign language and will master software for evaluation of geographical data. Graduates can be employed at different State Departments, local governments, environmental protections agencies, turism organizations, landscape development and planning organizations.

Further, he or she will be able to create geographical databases regarding landscape and its regions at the different hierarchy levels. Graduates can do field research and analyze landscape management at government or local levels. He or she is able to identify landscape problems and conflicts between environmental and the human factors. Graduates can join a team of specialists for solving problems in landscape development and protection.
