About the program: Master’s graduate in Applied Informatics understands in-depth study of theories, methods and procedures of informatics, mathematics and their applications and is able to use and develop them independently and creatively. On this basis, he is able to use and develop methods and computational procedures for creating, analyzing and displaying models of a different nature, and for processing, interpreting, storing and displaying information. He can design, construct, analyze, and maintain extensive information systems. He is capable of performing research with a high level of creativity and autonomy; he will have experience with hypothesis formulation, experimental design, hypothesis validation and analysis of acquired data. The graduate is able to master the different methods and paradigms of modern programming, he can choose the most suitable approach according to the needs of the application, he masters the basic techniques of the formal methods of designing the program systems, the specification and verification techniques and tools, the basics of software engineering. It can be assumed that part of the graduates will continue to study in the third degree of studies in applied informatics or related study disciplines.
